Yale 85 Deadlocking Night Latch (40mm)

This is the reversed, shorter body version of the Yale Night Latches in this series. Designed for use on doors where space is at a premium, usually due to a thinner door panel or frame. The smaller body houses a shorter bolt which doesn't require as much depth to fix into the door frame.

Yale 85 Night Latches allow the door to be deadlocked and are suitable for both exterior and interior doors. They are usually coupled with a British Standard BS3621 Mortice Deadlock to provide additional security when used on external doors.

• Bolt can be deadlocked or held back by slide button, rendering the lock inoperable by key or handle.
• Inside handle can be deadlocked by a reverse turn of the key in the outside cylinder after closing the door.
