This ABUS Pfaffenhain double cylinder has been awarded the British Standard kitemark for its compliance with modern security standards. This is our highest security and most recommended double cylinder, and comes fitted with a restricted key section.
The cylinder is predominately used on UPVC doors or fitted within a sash or dead case to provide a high security external lock. The ABUS Pfaffenhain range also utilises a 6-pin cylinder to give another layer of protection over more standard 5 pin models.
The 'Y' Patented key system, which is fully unique to the Lock Shop Warehouse makes. Although the patent on the Y section key has run out it is extremely unlikely any other key cutting shop will have the Y section key blanks that we use which makes duplicating the keys virturally impossible with laser machines due to a 'Y' curved section. The Key Section was patented until 2020, enabling you to stop unauthorised duplication with your own key number and full control your key distribution. We hold the key restrictions in house and offer a free of charge key registation if you would like to use it.
