JNF Euro Cylinder Mortice Bolt - Satin Chrome Euro Covers

JNF Euro Cylinder Mortice Bolt. Easy to fit mortice bolt to securely lock any door with a euro cylinder.

Easier to install than a mortice Euro deadlock.

Can be used with a Euro double or Euro Thumbturn cylinder which can be keyed to other cylinders / padlocks around the house.

The advantage of a Euro cylinder lock is when you have thicker doors if you use a mortice deadlock you will require long extended keys which are a pain to carry around. With the Euro cylinder option the cylinder passes all the way through the door so you can use a standard size cylinder key.

Perfect for Garden sheds or garage doors if you dont require insurance graded security but would like a higher security lock than the standard Rim locks.

Components required =

1 x JNF Euro Mortice lock

1 x EURO cylinder - ( not supplied) - this depends on the of thickness door and the position you install the bolt. If you offset the bolt then 1 side will be longer than the other. The Euro escutcheons are 5mm thick on each side so cylinder length should total the thickness of the door + 10mm

2 x Euro Escutcheons - Supplied - 2 x 5mm Bolt through Euro Escutcheons and fixings


Tools Required for installation =

1 x 25mm Drill bit ( fitting main body of bolt )

Chisels = to cut out faceplate and strike plate on frame

1 x 43-45mm hole saw wood bit (can be no larger 45mm otherwise the Euro Escutcheons will not fit on the face of the door as the wood has been cut away)
